RAW MANGO PICKLE || ACHAAR RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD 


  • PREPARATION TIME: 15 Mins
  • COOKING TIME: 10 Mins
INGREDIENTS:
  1. Raw Mango - 500 gms (Cut into small pieces)
  2. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  3. Yellow Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp
  4. Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
  5. Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  6. Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Salt - To Taste
  8. Mustard Oil - 50 gms
  9. Sunflower Oil - 50 gms
FOR TEMPERING:
  1. Garlic Cloves - 10-15
  2. Whole Red Chillies - 6-7
  3. Curry Leaves - 2 Sprig
  4. Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
METHOD:
  1. Roast Mustard & Fenugreek Seeds & Grind in a fine powder.
  2. Add Turmeric, Red Chilli, Mustard & Fenugreek Seeds powder, Salt in Raw mangoes. Keep aside.
  3. Heat Mustard Oil at smoking point. Add Sunflower Oil & heat.
  4. Add Garlic Cloves, Curry Leaves, Whole Red Chillies & Asafoetida.
  5. Cool the Tempering & add into the pickle. Fill pickle in the jar.
  6. Keep the jar under sunlight for 8-10 days.
