EPISODE # 161 ALOO MATAR SABZI WITHOUT ONION & GARLIC || ALOO MATAR KI SABZI PREPARATION TIME: 5 Mins COOKING TIME: 15 Mins SERVINGS: 2 INGREDIENTS: Potatoes - 1 Big (Small cubes) Green Peas - 1 Cup Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder - 1 tbsp Green coriander - 1/2 Cup Green chilli - 2 (Chopped) Ginger - Small piece (Crushed) Salt - To taste FOR TEMPERING: Asafoetida - 1 Pinch Nigella seeds - 1 Pinch Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Oil - 1  1/2 tbsp METHOD: Heat Oil in a vessel. Add tempering & saute. Add ginger & saute. Add green chilli & saute. Add potatoes & mix. Add green peas & mix well. Add salt to taste & cover & cook on low flame. After 5 min, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame for 2-3 mins. Add coriander powder & mix well. Add green coriander & mix well. Sprinkle little water & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame

EPISODE # 160 MIX VEGETABLE PULAO || PULAO RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD PREPARATION TIME: 10 - 15 Mins COOKING TIME: 40 - 45 Mins SERVINGS: 6 - 7 INGREDIENTS: Basmati Rice - 1 Kg (Soaked in water) Green Peas - 1/2 Kg Cauliflower - 1/2 Potato - 4-5 (Cut in half) Carrot - 1 Big (Sliced) Onion - 2 Big (Sliced) Tomato - 3 Big (Sliced) Curd - Less than 1 Cup Ginger - Garlic paste - 2 tbsp Kashmiri powder - 1 tbsp Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder - 2 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp Green chillies - 2-3 Shah Jeera - 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Black pepper - Few Bay leaf - 2 Star Anise - 2 Cloves - 3-4 Cardamom - 2 Cinnamon Stick - 1 Lemon - 1 Green coriander - Few Mint leaves - Few Salt  -to taste Ghee - 1 Spoon Oil - 2 Spoon METHOD: Soak veggies in water with a little salt in it. EPISODE # 159 HOW TO MAKE SAMBHAR RECIPE || SIMPLE & EASY METHOD TO MAKE SAMBHAR AT HOME PREPARATION TIME:  05 Mins COOKING TIME: 15-20 Mins SERVINGS: 4-5 INGREDIENTS: Tur dal - 1 cup Drumstick - as required Pumpkin - as required Onion - 1 chopped Tomato - 1 chopped Red chilli powder - 1 tsp Kashmiri lal mirch - 1 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Sambhar masala - 1 tbsp Grounded Coconut paste - 1 tbsp Tamarind - 5 gms 5 gms (soaked in water) Jaggery  - 1 inch Asafoetida - 1 pinch Mustard, Cumin, Fenugreek seeds - 1 tbsp Ginger Julienne - as required Curry leaves - 2-3 sprigs Whole dry red chilli - 2 Salt - to taste Oil - 2-3 tbsp METHOD: Boil veggies by adding salt, turmeric powder. EPISODE # 158 HOW TO MAKE SOFT & TASTY IDLI PREPARATION TIME: 10 Mins COOKING TIME: 10-15 Mins INGREDIENTS: Dosa Rice - 1/2 Kg Cooked Rice - 250 gms Urad Dal - 1 Cup Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tsp Soda Bicarb - 1/4 tsp Salt - to taste METHOD:  Take a bowl. Add all ingredients & soak in water. Cover & keep aside for 4-5 hrs. Take a mixer jar. Add all soaked ingredients & grind in a fine batter. Cover the lid with a cotton cloth  & keep aside for 6-7 hrs at a warm place Transfer to a bowl. Add salt & soda - bicarb & mix well with little water. Take an Idli maker. Add water & keep for boiling. Grease idli plates with oil. Put equal parts of batter on the plate. Cover & cook for 10-15 mins. Take out on a plate.
