HOW TO MAKE SOFT & TASTY IDLI
- PREPARATION TIME: 10 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 10-15 Mins
INGREDIENTS:
- Dosa Rice - 1/2 Kg
- Cooked Rice - 250 gms
- Urad Dal - 1 Cup
- Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tsp
- Soda Bicarb - 1/4 tsp
- Salt - to taste
METHOD:
- Take a bowl. Add all ingredients & soak in water. Cover & keep aside for 4-5 hrs.
- Take a mixer jar. Add all soaked ingredients & grind in a fine batter.
- Cover the lid with a cotton cloth & keep aside for 6-7 hrs at a warm place
- Transfer to a bowl.
- Add salt & soda - bicarb & mix well with little water.
- Take an Idli maker. Add water & keep for boiling.
- Grease idli plates with oil. Put equal parts of batter on the plate.
- Cover & cook for 10-15 mins.
- Take out on a plate. Serve hot with Sambhar & Coconut chutney.
