DAL PALAK || DAL RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD
- PREPARATION TIME: 05 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 20-25 Mins
- SERVING: 5-6
- Spinach Leaves - 10-12 (Chopped)
- Masoor Dal - 250 gms
- Tomato - 2 Big (Cubes)
- Onion -1/2 Small (Cubes)
- Tamarind - 5 gms
- Green Chilli - 10-12
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - To Taste
- Green Coriander
- Oil - 1 Spoon
- Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig
- Mustard & Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Onion - 1 Small (Sliced)
- Oil - 1 Spoon
- Heat a cooking pot. Add Masoor dal & water (Water should be more than masoor dal).
- Add Onion, Tomato, Green chilli, Green Coriander, Turmeric Powder, Salt, Cover & Cook.
- Add Tamarind, Spinach, Green Coriander, Salt, Oil 1 spoon & mix.
- Add a glass of water, cover & cook for about 15-20 mins on low flame.
- Heat Oil 1 Spoon & add the tempering & saute until the onion turns golden brown.
- Add Dal, cover & cook for about 5 Mins.
- Serve hot with Plain Rice, Roti, Pav, etc.
