AFGHANI CHICKEN PULAV || CHICKEN PULAO || PULAO RECIPES BY AYESHA

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Chicken - 1 1/2 Kg
  2. Basmati Rice - 1 1/2 kg
  3. Tomatoes - 1/2 kg (Cubes)
  4. Fried Onions - 1/2 kg
  5. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder - 2 tbsp
  7. Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
  8. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  9. Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  10. Curd - 300 gms
  11. Green coriander - 1 Cup
  12. Mint leaves - 1 Cup
  13. Lemons - 2
  14. Green chillies - 2-3
  15. Bay leaf - 2
  16. Cinnamon stick - 1/2
  17. Green Cardamom - 2
  18. Cloves - 3
  19. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  20. Salt - To taste
  21. Oil - 250 gms
METHOD:
  1. Make a cut in Chicken & keep aside.
  2. Take a mixer jar, add tomatoes, fried onions & grind in a fine paste.
  3. Add Curd & grind.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, salt to taste & grind for once. Keep it aside.
  5. Heat oil in a cooking pot & fry Chicken, take out & keep aside.
  6. In the same oil add spices, paste, cover & cook for 10-15 mins.
  7. Add chicken to the masala & cook for another 15-20 mins.
  8. Add lemon, green chilies & stir well.
  9. Cover & cook for another 10-15 mins on low flame.
  10. Take a big cooking pot & grease with Oil/Ghee.
  11. Layer the Pulav as shown in the video.
  12. Cover the lid with a cloth & cook for another 15-20 mins on low flame.
