BAIGAN KI KHATTI DAL || DAL RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Brinjal - 2 (Cut in cubes)
  2. Tur dal - 250 gms
  3. Green chili - 6-7
  4. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  5. Tamarind - 5 gms
  6. Onion - 1 (Cubes)
  7. Tomato - 2 Big (Cubes)
FOR TEMPERING:
  1. Curry leaves - 1 sprig
  2. Crushed Garlic - 4-5
  3. Onion - 1/2 (Sliced)
  4. Whole dry red chili - 1
  5. Fenugreek seeds - 1 Pinch
  6. Mustard & Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Ghee - 1/2 Cup
METHOD:
  1. Take a cooker. Add Dal, water all other ingredients, bring cooker on full pressure & keep to boil.
  2. Add dal & water, salt to taste & mix well.
  3. Heat a cooking pot. Add Ghee, tempering.
  4. Add dal & cover & cook for 5-6 mins.
  5. Serve hot with Plain rice.
