INGREDIENTS:
- Brinjal - 2 (Cut in cubes)
- Tur dal - 250 gms
- Green chili - 6-7
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Tamarind - 5 gms
- Onion - 1 (Cubes)
- Tomato - 2 Big (Cubes)
- Curry leaves - 1 sprig
- Crushed Garlic - 4-5
- Onion - 1/2 (Sliced)
- Whole dry red chili - 1
- Fenugreek seeds - 1 Pinch
- Mustard & Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Ghee - 1/2 Cup
- Take a cooker. Add Dal, water all other ingredients, bring cooker on full pressure & keep to boil.
- Add dal & water, salt to taste & mix well.
- Heat a cooking pot. Add Ghee, tempering.
- Add dal & cover & cook for 5-6 mins.
- Serve hot with Plain rice.
