CHICKEN KOFTA GRAVY || CHICKEN RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:

FOR KOFTA:
  1. Chicken Breasts - 1/2 kg (Cubes)
  2. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  3. Ginger - Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
  4. Red Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Onion - 1 Big (Cubes)
  7. Curd - 1 tbsp
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Green chilli - 2
  10. Green Coriander - 1 cup
FOR GRAVY:
  1. Onion - 2 Big (chopped)
  2. Tomato - 2 Big (Cubes)
  3. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  6. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
  8. Kasoori methi - 1/2 tsp
  9. Curd - 2 tbsp
  10. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  11. Bay leaf - 2
  12. Green chilli - 2
  13. Green coriander - 1 Cup
  14. Salt - to taste
  15. Ghee - 1/2 Spoon
  16. Oil - 2 Spoon
METHOD:
FOR KOFTA:
  1. Take a bowl. Put Chicken, Red chilli, Turmeric, Coriander powder, ginger garlic paste & mix well. Take a mixer jar & grind for twice. Take out.
  2. Add green chilli, green coriander, onion in the same jar & grind for once. Take out & mix in the ground chicken.
  3. Let it rest on room temperature.
FOR GRAVY:
  1. Take a mixer jar, add tomatoes & make a puree of it.
  2. Heat Oil, Ghee in a cooking pan.
  3. Add Cumin seeds, Bay leaf,, Onion & saute till onion turn golden brown.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste & saute.
  5. Add tomato puree & saute.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt to taste & mix well.
  7. Add Curd & mix well.
  8. Add 1/2 glass of water & mix it, cover & cook.
  9. Add Curd in the chicken mixture & mix well.
  10. Make balls & keep aside.
  11. Mix the gravy & put Kofta one by one in gravy, do not stir. Cover & cook on high flame.
  12. Gently flip kofta the other side, add green chillies.
  13. Add a glass of water, cover & cook on low flame for about 15-20 mins.
  14. Add garam masala powder, kasoori methi, green coriander & stir well.
  15. Cover & cook on low flame for another 5-10 mins.
  16. Serve hot with plain rice, jeera rice, roti, paratha etc.
