COCONUT CHUTNEY CHICKEN || CHICKEN RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD
- PREPARATION TIME: 15 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 30-35 Mins
- SERVINGS: 4-5
- Chicken Pieces - 1 kg
- Onion - 1 Big (Sliced)
- Tomato - 2 Big
- Coconut - 1/2 (Sliced)
- Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- Green chilli - 10-12
- Green coriander - 1/2 Cup
- Mint leaves - 1/2 Cup
- Bay leaf - 1
- Cumin seeds - 2 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - To taste
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Oil - 2 Spoon
- Marinate the Chicken with Vinegar for 15-20 mins & wash thoroughly.
- Take a mixer jar. Add Coconut & grind with a little water in a paste.
- Add Green chilli, cumin seeds, black pepper, mint & coriander leaves & grind them into a fine paste.
- Add tomatoes, coriander powder & grind into a fine paste.
- Heat Oil & Ghee in a cooking pot. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, onion & saute till golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste. Add the paste & saute.
- Add turmeric powder, salt to taste, cover & cook.
- Add chicken & mix. Cover & cook for another 15-20 mins.
- Add garam masala powder & water as required & mix well. Cover & cook for another 10-15 mins on low flame.
- Serve after 15-20 mins. Serve with Naan, roti, paratha, rice & dal.
