GAJAR AUR DUDHI KA HALWA || CARROT & BOTTLE GOURD HALWA RECIPE
- PREPARATION TIME: 15 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 20-25 Mins
- SERVINGS: 5-6
- Carrot - 1 Kg (Grated)
- Bottle gourd - 1 Kg (Grated)
- Sugar - 300 gms
- Fresh Cream - 1 Cup
- Milk - 1/2 Cup
- Kewra essence - few drops
- Orange food color - 1 Pinch
- Dry fruits - 1 Cup (Chopped)
- Green cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cinnamon Stick - 1/3
- Green Cardamom - 2
- Cloves - 3
- Ghee - 1/2 Spoon
- Wash & peel carrot & bottle gourd & grate them. Mix both well.
- Add milk & fresh cream & mix. Put it in a cooker & boil for 3-4 mins.
- Heat Ghee in a cooking pot. Add green cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves, dry fruits & saute.
- Add cardamom powder & saute.
- Add boiled bottle gourd & carrot & saute.
- After 2-3 mins add sugar & stir well.
- Add orange food color & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame. Stir occasionally.
- Stir for once. Cover & cook for another 5-10 mins.
- Add kewda essence & mix. Turn off the flame.
- Serve after a few mins.
