PRAWNS & CHICKEN FRY || PRAWNS & CHICKEN RECIPE BY AYESHA'S WORLD

  • PREPARATION TIME: 10-15 Mins

  • SERVINGS: 3-4
INGREDIENTS:
  1. Boneless Chicken - 1 Cup (Cut into long strips)
  2. Prawns - 1 Cup (Deshelled and deveined)
  3. Refined Flour - 4 tbsp
  4. Corn Flour - 1 tbsp
  5. Ginger-Garlic paste - 1tbsp
  6. Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
  8. Baking Powder - 1/4 tsp
  9. Chat Masala - 1/2 tbsp
  10. Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  11. Cold Water - 1 Cup
  12. Carom Seeds - 1 Pinch
  13. Salt - to taste
  14. Oil - for frying
METHOD:
  1. Marinade Chicken & Prawns with all the spices ginger garlic paste, 
  2. Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chat masala, lemon juice, and salt.
  3. Take a bowl, add refined flour, cornflour, tbsp red chill powder pinch turmeric, pinch chat masala, salt to taste and cold water make a thick batter.
  4. Heat oil in a karahi. 
  5. Add baking powder to the batter mix well. 
  6. Dip chicken pieces into the batter and fry till golden brown.
  7. Dip prawns into the better fry and till golden brown. 
  8. Fry on low flame. Serve hot.
  • Kuch Batein, Kuch Seekh, Kuch Tips:
  • Tips:- 
  1. Make better with cold water.
  2. Add baking powder into the batter just before frying.
  3. Raw prawns with or without a shell, make sure that the heads are removed before freezing.
