RESTAURANT STYLE DAL FRY || MOONG MASUR DAL FRY

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Moong Dal - 1 Cup
  2. Masur Dal - 1Cup
  3. Onion - 2 Medium (Finely Chopped)
  4. Tomatoes - 2 Medium (Finely Chopped)
  5. Ginger - 1 Inch
  6. Garlic Cloves - 4-5 (Crushed)
  7. Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
  8. Green chilli - 2 (Chopped)
  9. Salt - To taste
  10. Ghee - 1 Spoon
  11. Green coriander - 1/2 Cup
METHOD:
  1. Boil Dal with little salt & turmeric powder.
  2. Heat Ghee in a vessel. Add Cumin Seeds & saute.
  3. Add Crushed Garlic, Onions & saute till golden brown.
  4. Add Tomatoes. Add Green chillies, salt & saute. Cover & cook on low flame for 5-6 mins.
  5. Add Red chilli powder. Add Kashmiri lal mirch powder. After 4-5 mins add dal & mix well.
  6. Add a 1/2 glass of water. Add green coriander & mix well. Cover & simmer on low flame for about 10-15 mins.
  7. Garnish with ghee & coriander leaves. Serve hot with Jeera rice, roti etc.
