TASTY BANGALORE CHICKEN BIRYANI || BIRYANI RECIPE BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Basmati Rice - 1 Kg (Soaked in water for a 1 hr)
  2. Chicken - 1 Kg
  3. Onions - 1 Big (Sliced)
  4. Tomato - 2 Big
  5. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  6. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  7. Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
  8. Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  9. Green chilli - 2
  10. Lemon - 1
  11. Cloves - 4
  12. Cardamom - 3
  13. Cinnamon Stick - 1/2
  14. Cumin seeds - 1tsp
  15. Salt - To Taste
  16. Oil - 3 Spoon
  17. Ghee - 1 Spoon
FOR PASTE:
  1. Mint leaves - 1 bunch
  2. Onion - 1 small (Cubes)
  3. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  4. Pepper - 2  tsp
  5. Chilli - 10-12
  6. Green Coriander - 25-30 sprigs
METHOD:
  1. Take a mixer jar. Add all ingredients & 1/2 a glass of water & grind to a fine paste.
  2. Heat Oil & Ghee in a cooking pot. Add Cumin Seeds, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves & saute.
  3. Add Onion, Tomatoes, Ginger-Garlic paste, Salt to taste & saute. Cover & simmer.
  4. Add Turmeric powder, Coriander powder, Green chilli & saute.
  5. Add the Grounded Green masala, Garam masala powder & saute.
  6. After 5-6 mins add Chicken. Cover & simmer.
  7. Add Water less than 1 ltr, Salt to taste. Cover & simmer until the water boils.
  8. Add Green coriander, Mint leaves & mix.
  9. Add Rice & mix. Add Water more than 1 ltr, Lemon juice. Cover & simmer. Cover the lid with a cloth & cook on low flame for about 10-15 mins.
  10. Serve hot with Dahi Kachumbar.
