TASTY BANGALORE CHICKEN BIRYANI || BIRYANI RECIPE BY AYESHA'S WORLD
- PREPARATION TIME: 10 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 30 Mins
- SERVINGS: 5-6
- Basmati Rice - 1 Kg (Soaked in water for a 1 hr)
- Chicken - 1 Kg
- Onions - 1 Big (Sliced)
- Tomato - 2 Big
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
- Green chilli - 2
- Lemon - 1
- Cloves - 4
- Cardamom - 3
- Cinnamon Stick - 1/2
- Cumin seeds - 1tsp
- Salt - To Taste
- Oil - 3 Spoon
- Ghee - 1 Spoon
- Mint leaves - 1 bunch
- Onion - 1 small (Cubes)
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Pepper - 2 tsp
- Chilli - 10-12
- Green Coriander - 25-30 sprigs
- Take a mixer jar. Add all ingredients & 1/2 a glass of water & grind to a fine paste.
- Heat Oil & Ghee in a cooking pot. Add Cumin Seeds, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves & saute.
- Add Onion, Tomatoes, Ginger-Garlic paste, Salt to taste & saute. Cover & simmer.
- Add Turmeric powder, Coriander powder, Green chilli & saute.
- Add the Grounded Green masala, Garam masala powder & saute.
- After 5-6 mins add Chicken. Cover & simmer.
- Add Water less than 1 ltr, Salt to taste. Cover & simmer until the water boils.
- Add Green coriander, Mint leaves & mix.
- Add Rice & mix. Add Water more than 1 ltr, Lemon juice. Cover & simmer. Cover the lid with a cloth & cook on low flame for about 10-15 mins.
- Serve hot with Dahi Kachumbar.
