CHICKEN PULAV(ANDHRA STYLE) || PULAO RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD
- PREPARATION TIME: 15 mins
- COOKING TIME: 30 - 40 Mins
- SERVINGS: 5-6
- Basmati Rice - 1 kg
- Chicken - 1 kg
- Onion - 4 big (sliced)
- Tomato - 4 big (sliced)
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
- Kashmiri lal mirch powder - 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder -1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Curd - 1 cup / 200 gms
- Bay leaf - 2
- Green chilli - 3
- Lemon - 1
- Salt - to taste
- Ghee - 1/2 Cup
- Oil - 200 gms
- Heat Oil & Ghee in a cooking pot. Add Bay leaf, Green chilli, Onions & saute.
- Add all masalas, tomato with a little water. Cover & simmer.
- Add Chicken after 2-3 mins. Cover & simmer on low flame.
- Add chopped green coriander. Cover & simmer for about 5-6 mins.
- Turn the flame low. Remove Chicken pieces & keep aside.
- Add water 1 1/2 ltr, mint leaves. Cover & simmer.
- Add soaked rice. Cover & simmer.
- Add Chicken, lemon, cover & simmer.
- Cover the lid with a cloth & cook on low flame.
- Serve hot with Dahi Kachumbar.
