- Tinday - 4-5 (250 gms)
- Chana dal - 2 Cup (Soaked in water for 1/2 hr)
- Tomato - 2 medium
- Red Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind - 5 gms
- Green chilli - 2
- Green coriander - 1/4 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Ghee - 1 Spoon
FOR TEMPERING:
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - few
- Dry red chilli - 2
- Take a cooker. Add dal, tinday, a glass of water, tomatoes & all other ingredients. Close cooker & bring it on full pressure on high heat.
- Mash dal well with the back of a ladle.
- Heat Ghee in a handi. Add tempering. Add dal Cover & simmer.
- Serve hot with rice, roti. Garnish with green coriander.
