TINDA CHANA DAL || TINDA CHANA DAL BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Tinday - 4-5 (250 gms)
  2. Chana dal - 2 Cup (Soaked in water for 1/2 hr)
  3. Tomato - 2 medium
  4. Red Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  7. Tamarind - 5 gms
  8. Green chilli - 2
  9. Green coriander - 1/4 cup
  10. Salt - to taste
  11. Ghee - 1 Spoon
FOR TEMPERING:
  1. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  2. Curry leaves - few
  3. Dry red chilli - 2
METHOD:
  1. Take a cooker. Add dal, tinday, a glass of water, tomatoes & all other ingredients. Close cooker & bring it on full pressure on high heat.
  2. Mash dal well with the back of a ladle.
  3. Heat Ghee in a handi. Add tempering. Add dal  Cover & simmer.
  4. Serve hot with rice, roti. Garnish with green coriander.
