SAAG PURI || PURI BHAJI || ALOO PURI || BREAKFAST RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

DOUGH FOR PURI:
  1. What flour - 2 cup
  2. Cumin seeds - 1 Pinch
  3. Carom seeds - 1 Pinch
  4. Semolina - 1 tbsp
  5. Chickpeas flour - 1 tbsp
  6. Green coriander - few
  7. Salt - to taste
  8. Ghee - 1 tbsp
FOR BHAJI:
  1. Potatoes - 3 Big (Boiled with a little salt)
  2. Onion - 1 Big (chopped)
  3. Tomato - 1 small (chopped)
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  5. Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  6. Garam masala powder - 1 Pinch
  7. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  8. Cumin, Mustard, Fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
  9. Curry leaves - few
  10. Green chilli - 3-4
  11. Green coriander - few
  12. Oil - 2-3 tbsp
METHOD:
  1. Take a bowl. Add all ingredients & mix by adding water & knead the dough.
  2. Spread ghee on dough & knead the dough until once more. Transfer to another container or bowl & keep aside to rest.
  3. Mash potatoes.
  4. Heat oil in a cooking pot.
  5. Add cumin, mustard, fenugreek seeds & saute.
  6. Add onion & saute.
  7. Add green chilli & saute.
  8. Add ginger-garlic paste & saute.
  9. Add tomato & saute.
  10. Add curry leaves & saute.
  11. Add turmeric powder & saute.
  12. Add potatoes & mix well.
  13. Add coriander, garam masala powder, salt to taste & mix well.
  14. Add 1/2 glass of water & mix well. Turn off the flame & add salt to taste if needed.
  15. Add coriander leaves & mix well.
  16. Roll the dough & cut into equal pieces.
  17. Roll the dough piece, dust some flour & make puri.
  18. Heat oil in a cooking pot.
  19. Put puri one by one & fry until golden brown.
  20. Serve hot with Baji.
