MATAR PULAO || PEAS PULAO || MATAR WALE CHAWAL

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Basmati Rice - 1 kg (soaked)
  2. Green peas - 1 Cup
  3. Cloves -3
  4. Green cardamom - 2
  5. Star Anise - 2
  6. Bay Leaf - 2
  7. Cinnamon stick - 2
  8. Mace - 1
  9. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  10. Shah jeera - 1 tsp
  11. Black pepper - 5-6
  12. Lemon - 1/2
  13. Green chilli - 4-5
  14. Green coriander - few
  15. Almonds - few
  16. Pistachio - few
  17. Salt - to taste
  18. Ghee - 1 Spoon
  19. Oil - 1/2 Spoon
METHOD:
  1. Heat Oil & Ghee in a patila.
  2. Add all spices & saute.
  3. Add dry fruits & saute.
  4. Add green peas & saute.
  5. Add green chilli & saute.
  6. Add water 1.5ltr & saute.
  7. Add salt to taste. Put the lid & cook until water boils.
  8. Add green coriander & mix.
  9. Add rice & mix.
  10. Add lemon & mix. Cover & cook on low flame.
  11. Cover & cook for another 5 mins.
