FOR ALOO MIXTURE:
- Boiled Mashed Potato - 6-7
- Onion - 1 Small (Chopped)
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder - Less than 1/4 tsp
- Cumin & Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Green chilli - 1
- Curry leaves - Few
- Salt - To taste
- Oil- 1 tbsp
- Gram Flour - 6-7 tbsp
- Bread Slices - as required
- Turmeric powder - Less than 1/4 tsp
- Carom seeds - 1 Pinch
- Green coriander - Few (Chopped)
- Oil - For Frying
- Heat oil in a cooking pot.
- Add cumin & mustard seeds, curry leaves & saute.
- Add ginger-garlic paste & saute.
- Add all ingredients & saute.
- Add mashed potato & mix well.
- Add salt & garam masala powder & mix well.
- Spread green coriander & turn off the flame. Cool at room temperature.
- Take a bowl. Add gram flour, carom seeds, green coriander & mix well with little water.
- Cut bread diagonally. Spread potato stuffing on bread.
- Cover with another slice of bread.
- Heat oil in a cooking pot.
- Coat the bread with the batter & put it in hot oil & let it fry until golden brown.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
