खजूर और अंजीर के लड्ड || KHAJOOR AUR ANJEER KE LADOO || DATES & DRY FIGS LADDU
  • PREPARATION TIME: 15 Mins
  • COOKING TIME: 25-30 Mins
INGREDIENTS:
  1. Dates - 1/2 Kg (Deseed)
  2. Dry Figs - (Soaked in milk for 30-35 mins)
  3. Dry Fruits - as required (Almonds, Cashewnuts, Pistachios, Walnuts, Raisins, all Coarsely grounded except for Raisins)
  4. Milk - 1/2 glass (If required)
  5. Desiccated Coconut - 2 tbsp
  6. Sugar - 1 tbsp
  7. Ghee - 1 tbsp
METHOD:
  1. Heat ghee in a pan. Add green cardamom powder.
  2. Add dates & saute.
  3. Add soaked figs with milk & mix well.
  4. Put the lid & cook on low flame.
  5. Add 1/2 glass of milk & mix well.
  6. Add sugar & mix.
  7. Add desiccated coconut & mix well. 
  8. Add coarsely grounded dry fruits & mix well. Turn the flame off & keep aside to cool down at room temperature.
  9. Make laddu when the mixture is lukewarm. Take some amount on palm & give shape.
  10. Coat with desiccated coconut & place cashew on top & keep aside.
  11. You can store it in an airtight container or jar.
  12. This can be stored for 15-20 days.
  13. To store for more days keep it in the refrigerator.
