DHABA STYLE CHANA DAL FRY || SUPER TASTY CHANA DAL FRY || DAL RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Chana Dal - 2 Cups (Soak for 30 mins)
  2. Onion - 1 Big (Finely chopped)
  3. Tomato - 1 Big (Finely chopped)
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  5. Kashmiri lal mirch powder - 1 tbsp
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  8. Kasoori meethi - 1 tbsp
  9. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  10. Green chilli - 1 (Slited)
  11. Green coriander - few
  12. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  13. Green cardamom - 1
  14. Cloves - 2
  15. Bay leaf - 1
  16. Whole dry red chilli - 2
  17. Salt - to taste
  18. Oil - 2 Spoon
METHOD:
  1. Boil dal by adding turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp & salt to taste & mash it with a spoon.
  2. Heat oil in a karahi.
  3. Add spices & saute.
  4. Add onion & saute.
  5. Add tomato & saute.
  6. After 2 mins, add ginger garlic paste & saute.
  7. Add all masalas except for kasoori meethi & saute.
  8. Add kasoori meethi & mix well. Add a little water & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame for 5 mins.
  9. Add boiled dal & mix well, cover & cook on low flame.
  10. Add green coriander & mix well, cover & cook for another 5 mins on low flame.
  11. Serve hot with rice & roti.
