HOW TO MAKE POHA WITH TIP || MAHARASHTRIAN RECIPE || FLATTENED RICE / FLAKE RICE RECIPE BY AYESHA'S WORLD
- PREPARATION TIME: 10 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 15-20 Mins
- SERVINGS: 3-4
INGREDIENTS:
- Flaked Rice - 4 Cups
- Potato - 1 Small (Cut into small cubes)
- Onion - 1 Big (Finely chopped)
- Peanuts - 1 Cup (Deskin & dry roast)
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Green chilli - 4-5 (Chopped & Slited)
- Green Coriander - Few
- Curry leaves - Few
- Cumin & Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
- Milk - 2-3 tbsp
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 2-3 tbsp
METHOD:
- Wash rice flakes with 2-3 water. Strain rice flakes.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin & mustard seeds & saute.
- Add onion & saute.
- Add curry leaves & saute.
- Add green chilli & saute.
- Add potato, turmeric powder & saute, cover & cook on low flame.
- After 5 mins, add salt to taste & peanuts.
- Add flake rice & mix well.
- Add milk & mix well.
- Add green coriander & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame for another 5-6 mins.
- Serve hot with lemon slices, garnish with green coriander.
