ARBI AUR GOSHT KA KHATTA SALAN || TARO ROOT RECIPE || SOUTH INDIAN STYLE INDIAN STYLE SALAN BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Taro Root - 1/2 Kg
  2. Mutton Pieces - 1/2 Kg
  3. Onion - 1 Big (Chopped)
  4. Tomato - 2 Big (Chopped)
  5. Tamarind - 10 gms (Soaked in water)
  6. Ginger garlic paste  - 1 tsp
  7. Red Chilli powder  -1 tbsp
  8. Coriander powder - 4 tbsp
  9. Dry Coconut powder - 4 tbsp
  10. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  11. Green Coriander - Few (Chopped)
  12. Salt - to taste
  13. Oil - 1 Spoon
METHOD:
  1. Take a bowl. Spread salt on both your palms, deskin the taro root & put in a bowl water & salt.
  2. Rub taro root against both your palms & wash it.
  3. Heat a cooker, add mutton pieces, onion, turmeric powder, salt to taste & mix well.
  4. Add oil, all masalas, tomato, mix well & saute, add a little water & mix well.
  5. After 5 mins of sauteing, add green coriander & mix well.
  6. Add a glass of water & mix well. Close cooker, bring it on full pressure & cook till 5-6 whistles on high flame.
  7. Add taro root & mix well.
  8. Add tamarind water & mix well. Add a glass of water & mix well.
  9. Add green coriander & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame till 2-3 whistles on high flame.
  10. Cover & cook without for another 5 mins.
