ARBI AUR GOSHT KA KHATTA SALAN || TARO ROOT RECIPE || SOUTH INDIAN STYLE INDIAN STYLE SALAN BY AYESHA'S WORLD

- Taro Root - 1/2 Kg
- Mutton Pieces - 1/2 Kg
- Onion - 1 Big (Chopped)
- Tomato - 2 Big (Chopped)
- Tamarind - 10 gms (Soaked in water)
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Red Chilli powder -1 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 4 tbsp
- Dry Coconut powder - 4 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Green Coriander - Few (Chopped)
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 1 Spoon
- Take a bowl. Spread salt on both your palms, deskin the taro root & put in a bowl water & salt.
- Rub taro root against both your palms & wash it.
- Heat a cooker, add mutton pieces, onion, turmeric powder, salt to taste & mix well.
- Add oil, all masalas, tomato, mix well & saute, add a little water & mix well.
- After 5 mins of sauteing, add green coriander & mix well.
- Add a glass of water & mix well. Close cooker, bring it on full pressure & cook till 5-6 whistles on high flame.
- Add taro root & mix well.
- Add tamarind water & mix well. Add a glass of water & mix well.
- Add green coriander & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame till 2-3 whistles on high flame.
- Cover & cook without for another 5 mins.
