HOW TO MAKE COCONUT & PEANUT CHUTNEY || CHUTNEY FOR IDLI, MEDU VADA, DOSA BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Dry Coconut - 1/3 piece (Thinly Sliced)
  2. Peanuts - 1/4 Cup
  3. Roasted Chana Dal - 1/4 Cup
  4. Garlic Cloves - 14-15
  5. Green Chilli - 6-7
  6. Salt - To Taste
  7. Oil - 1 tbsp
FOR TEMPERING:
  1. Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig
  2. Whole Dry Red Chilli - 2
  3. Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
  4. Cumin & Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  5. Urad & Chana Dal - 1 tsp
METHOD:
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add dry coconut, peanuts, & roasted chana dal & saute on high flame.
  2. Add garlic cloves & green chilli & saute. Saute for 2 mins & let it cool at room temperature.
  3. Take a mixer jar, add all ingredients & grind it.
  4. Add water as required for the chutney & grind it finely.
  5. Heat oil as required for tempering. Add tempering ingredients & saute.
  6. Let the tempering cool down at room temperature. Put it on chutney.
  7. Serve with idli, dosa, medu vada etc.
