METHOD:
SUPER TASTY TAMATAR AUR HARI MIRCH KI CHUTNEY || BEST APPETISER || CHUTNEY RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD
- PREPARATION TIME: 15 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 20-25 Mins
- SERVINGS: 3-4
- Tomatoes - 1/2 Kg (Cut into cubes)
- Garlic Cloves - 8-10
- Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
- Green Chilli - 8-10
- Curry Leaves - 3-4 Sprig
- Tamarind - small piece
- Salt - To taste
- Oil - 3 tbsp
FOR TEMPERING:
- Garlic Cloves - 8-10
- Curry Leaves - 2 Sprig
- Whole dry red chilli - 4
- Cumin & Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp
- Carom Seeds - 1 Pinch
- Fenugreek Seeds - Less than 1/2 tsp
- Heat oil - 1 tbsp in a karahi. add garlic cloves, green chilli & saute.
- Add cumin seeds , curry leaves & saute. Keep aside.
- Heat a karahi, add tomatoes, tamarind, salt & saute, put the lid & cook on high flame.
- Once the water of tomatoes dries, turn off the flame. Let it cool at room temperature.
- Take a mixer jar, add sauted garlic cloves, green chilli, curry leaves, cumin seeds & grind them, in the same jar, add sauted tomatoes & grind them together.
- Heat oil - 2 tbsp, add tempering one by one & saute.
- Turn the flame to slow, add grounded tomato, put the lid. Saute them together.
- Put the lid & cook.
- Serve with rice, roti etc.
