HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY JAM AT HOME | STRAWBERRY RECIPES | JAM RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD
- PREPARATION TIME: 15 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 35-40 Mins
- SERVINGS: 3-4
- Strawberries - 1/2 Kg (Cut them into small pieces)
- Sugar - 2 Cups
- Citric Acid - 1 Pinch
- Take a bowl. Add strawberries, sugar & refrigerate for overnight.
- Place a pan on high flame, add strawberries mixture & cook till done.
- To mash strawberries, press them against another spoon.
- Lift a little amount of hot syrup in a metal spoon, turn spoon to let syrup fall from one edge. As the syrup thickens, large drops will form on the edge of the spoon.
- Add citric acid & mix well.
- Boil water & add into the jar to sterilize it.
- Place a metal spoon diagonally in the sterilized jar, pour the hot jam into it.
- Once the jam cools down, take the spoon out of the jar.
- Spread on bread, roti.
