SUPER TASTY & LIP-SMACKING DAHI CHICKEN || DAHI CHICKEN RECIPE || CHICKEN RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Chicken Pieces - 1/2 Kg
  2. Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp
  3. Black Pepper - 1 tsp
  4. Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
  5. Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
  6. Coriander Seeds - 2 tbsp
  7. Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
  8. Whole Dry Red Chilli - 4
  9. Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  10. Curd - 1/2 Kg
  11. Onion - 1/2 Kg (Sliced)
  12. Green Chilli - 4 (Chopped)
  13. Green Coriander - Few
  14. Shah Zeera - 1 tsp
  15. Bay leaf - 1
  16. Dry Spices: Cinnamon Stick - 1, Cloves - 3, Green Cardamom - 2
  17. Garam Masala Powder - Less than 1/4 tsp
  18. Dried Fenugreek Leaves - Few
  19. Salt - To Taste
  20. Butter - 2 tbsp
  21. Oil - 1 tbsp
METHOD:
  1. Take a bowl, add chicken, lemon juice, mix well & keep aside for 1/2 hour to marinade.
  2. Heat a pan, add all ingredients (3-8) & saute. Let it cool down at room temperature & coarsely grind it.
  3. After 1/2 hour, Add ginger garlic paste. Add grounded masala, salt.
  4. Add curd, mix well. Add a few green chilli & green coriander & mix well. Keep it aside for 1 hour to marinade.
  5. Heat a pan, add oil & butter. Add shah zeera & saute.
  6. Add bay leaf & saute. Add dry spices & saute.
  7. Add onion & saute. Add chicken & saute. Add green chilli & saute. Place the lid & cook on high flame.
  8. Add garam masala powder & mix well.
  9. Add dried fenugreek leaves & mix well.
  10. Add green coriander, cover & cook on high flame.
  11. Sprinkle some water & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame for another 5 mins.
  12. Serve hot with paratha, roti, rice.
