METHOD:
HOW TO MAKE PERFECT MEDU WADA RECIPE STEP BY STEP CRISPY & TASTY || MEDU WADA RECIPE BY AYESHA'S WORLD
- PREPARATION TIME: 15-20 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 20-25 Mins
- SERVINGS: 3-4
- Urad Dal - 2 Cups (Soaked in water for overnight)
- Coconut - 1/2
- Green Chilli - 4-5
- Garlic Cloves - 4-5
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp (Crushed)
- Asafoetida - Less than 1/4 tsp
- Green Chilli - 4 (Chopped)
- Green Coriander - Few
- Coconut - 1 small piece
- Curd - 1 tbsp
- Salt - To Taste
- Oil - For Frying
FOR CHUTNEY TEMPERING:
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Cumin & Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
- Curry Leaves - Few
- Whole Dry Red Chilli - 2
- Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
- Take a bowl, strain the dal. Take a mixer jar, add dal & grind it.
- Transfer it into a bowl. Put the lid & keep aside for 30 mins to rest.
- Take a mixer jar, add all ingredients (2-4), a little water & grind finely. Transfer chutney into a bowl.
- Heat a vessel. Add all tempering ingredients & saute. Add the tempering on chutney & place the lid on it.
- After 30 mins, mix grounded dal for once. Add all ingredients (5-12) one by one & mix well.
- Take water in a bowl, take a plate, place a butter paper on it, take some batter & give shape.
- Heat oil, put it in oil one by one & let it fry till it turns golden brown.
- Serve hot with chutney & sambhar.
