HOW TO MAKE PERFECT MEDU WADA RECIPE STEP BY STEP CRISPY & TASTY || MEDU WADA RECIPE BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Urad Dal - 2 Cups (Soaked in water for overnight)
  2. Coconut - 1/2
  3. Green Chilli - 4-5
  4. Garlic Cloves - 4-5
  5. Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
  6. Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp (Crushed)
  7. Asafoetida - Less than 1/4 tsp
  8. Green Chilli - 4 (Chopped)
  9. Green Coriander - Few
  10. Coconut - 1 small piece
  11. Curd - 1 tbsp
  12. Salt - To Taste
  13. Oil - For Frying
FOR CHUTNEY TEMPERING:
  1. Oil - 1 tbsp
  2. Cumin & Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  3. Curry Leaves - Few
  4. Whole Dry Red Chilli - 2
  5. Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
METHOD:
  1. Take a bowl, strain the dal. Take a mixer jar, add dal & grind it.
  2. Transfer it into a bowl. Put the lid & keep aside for 30 mins to rest.
  3. Take a mixer jar, add all ingredients (2-4), a little water & grind finely. Transfer chutney into a bowl.
  4. Heat a vessel. Add all tempering ingredients & saute. Add the tempering on chutney & place the lid on it.
  5. After 30 mins, mix grounded dal for once. Add all ingredients (5-12) one by one & mix well.
  6. Take water in a bowl, take a plate, place a butter paper on it, take some batter & give shape.
  7. Heat oil, put it in oil one by one & let it fry till it turns golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with chutney & sambhar.
