- Chicken Pieces - 1 Kg
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tbsp
- Curd - 2 tbsp
- Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
- Slat - To Taste
- Onion - 2 (Roughly Chopped)
- Tomatoes - 2 (Roughly Chopped)
- Almonds - 10-12
- Cashew nuts - 10-12
- Curd - 1 Cup
- Shah Jeera - 1 tsp
- Bay Leaf - 2
- Cinnamon Stick - 1
- Green Cardamom - 2
- Cloves - 3
- Onion - 1 (Sliced)
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tbsp
- Salt - To Taste
- Garam Masala Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Dried Fenugreek Leaves - 1 tbsp
- Ghee - 1 Spoon
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Take a bowl, add all ingredients (1-5) & mix well. Cover & keep aside for marination.
- Heat oil a pan, add onions & saute.
- After 1 min, add tomatoes & saute.
- Add almonds, cashew nuts & saute. Turn off the flame, keep aside to cool down at room temperature.
- Take a mixer jar, add sauteed ingredients, curd & grind finely.
- Heat ghee in a karahi, add all ingredients (11-16) & saute.
- Add grounded paste & mix well. Add a little water & mix well.
- Add all ingredients (17-20) & mix well. Put the lid & simmer.
- After 2-3 mins, add marinated chicken & mix well. Put the lid & simmer on high flame.
- Add garam masala powder & mix well.
- Add dried fenugreek leaves & mix well. Put the lid & simmer for another 5-6 mins, add a 1/2 glass of water & mix well. Put the lid & simmer for another 7-10 mins.
- Serve hot with rice, roti, etc.
