HOW TO MAKE TOMATO KETCHUP AT HOME || KETCHUP RECIPE  BY AYESHA'S WORLD

  • PREPARATION TIME: 20 Mins
  • COOKING TIME: 20-25 Mins
INGREDIENTS:
  1. Tomatoes - 1/2 Kg
  2. Tamarind Pulp - 2 tbsp
  3. Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
  4. Kashmiri Lal mirch Powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Sugar - 5 tbsp
  6. White Vinegar - Less than 1/4 Cup
METHOD:
  1. Take the pressure, add tomatoes, add 1/2 cup of water. Place the lid & bring cooker on full pressure & cook until 3-4 whistles, let it cool down at room temperature.
  2. Take a mixer jar, add boiled tomatoes & blend into a puree.
  3. Take a bowl, a strainer, add puree & sieve it.
  4. Heat a pan, add puree & mix well.
  5. Add tamarind pulp, red chilli powder, Kashmiri lal mirch & mix well.
  6. On a low flame, add sugar & mix well.
  7. When it gets a little thick, add white vinegar & mix well.
  8. Once it gets thick, turn off the flame & let it cool down at room temperature.
  9. Transfer it into a container & store it in a refrigerator.
