- Green Coriander - 1 Bunch
- Gram Flour - 1 Cup
- Rice Flour - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
- Green Chilli Paste - 1/2 tsp
- Fennel Seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
- Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - For Frying
- Mix gram & rice flour together. Add water & mix well. Prepare the batter lump-free.
- Heat oil - 1 tbsp in a karahi. Add mustard seeds & saute.
- Add asafoetida & saute. Add ginger-garlic paste & saute.
- Add turmeric powder & mix well. Add the rest ingredients & saute. Add green coriander & mix well.
- Add the batter & mix well. Continuously stir & cook. Cook on medium-low flame & stir.
- After 2-3 mins, turn off the flame & cook for another 1 min.
- Take a plate, put the mixture & press it against the plate.
- Garnish with poppy seeds & sesame seeds. Let it cool down at room temperature. Cut it into small cubes.
- Heat oil in a karahi. Put the wadi cubes one by one in the hot oil & let it fry.
- Serve hot.
