METHOD:
SAFAR PAR LE JAANE KE LIYE BANAYE MAZEDAAR TUR KI KHATTI DAL JO 2 DIN TAK KHARAB NAHI HOGI BY AYESHA'S WORLD
- PREPARATION TIME: 20 Mins
- COOKING TIME: 10-15 Mins
- SERVINGS: 3-4
- Tur Dal - 1 Cup
- Tomatoes - 3 Big (Cut into cubes)
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind - 20 gms
- Whole Dry Red Chillies - 5-6
- Curry Leaves - Few
- Garlic Cloves - 5-6
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
FOR TEMPERING:
- Ghee - 1 Spoon
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
- Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tsp
- Garlic Cloves - 4-5 (Chopped)
- Whole Dry Chillies - 3-4
- Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig
- Dal Masala - 1 tbsp
- Take a pressure cooker, add all ingredients (1-9) & add 1 glass of water. Put the lid & bring it on full pressure & boil it.
- Take a bowl, separate a little portion of dal from the other ingredients. With the help of the back of the ladle, mix all the ingredients.
- Mix the unmixed boiled dal with the mixed dal. Add salt & mix well.
- Heat ghee, add tempering ingredients & saute. Add dal & put the lid & cook for 5 mins.
- Add 1/2 glass of warm water & mix well. Cover & cook for another 1 min.
- Serve hot.
