PYAZ AUR TAMATAR KI CHUTNEY || DOSA, IDLI KE SAATH KHAYE JANE WALI CHUTNEY || PANIYARAM RECIPE BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Tomatoes - 3 (Chopped)
  2. Chana Dal - 1/2 tsp
  3. Urad Dal - 1/2 tsp
  4. Onion - 2 (Chopped)
  5. Tamarind - 5 gms
  6. Kashmiri Lal Mirch - 4
  7. Whole Dry Red Chillies - 8-10
  8. Garlic Cloves - 7-8
  9. Fenugreek Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  10. Coriander Seeds - 1 tsp
  11. Oil - 2 tbsp
FOR TEMPERING:
  1. Oil - 2 tbsp
  2. Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
  3. Mustard Seed s- 1 tsp
  4. Urad Dal - 1/2 tsp
  5. Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  6. Curry Leaves - Few
METHOD:
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic cloves & saute.
  2. Add chana dal, coriander seeds & saute.
  3. Add urad dal, fenugreek seeds & saute.
  4. Add whole dry red chilli & kashmiri lal mirch & saute.
  5. After 3-4 mins of sauteing, take it out into another plate.
  6. Add onion, tomato & saute.
  7. Add tamarind & saute. Saute it for another 5 mins. Turn off the flame & let it cool down at room temperature.
  8. Take a mixer jar, add all the sauteed ingredients & grind into a fine paste.
  9. Heat oil in a pan, add all the tempering ingredients & saute.
  10. Put the tempering into the chutney & mix well.
  11. Put the paste into a pan & cook for 3-4 mins.
