- Baby Potatoes - 1/2 Kg
- Onion - 1 (Finely Chopped)
- Tomato - 2 (Finely Chopped)
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
- Kashmiri Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander Powder - 2 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds Powder - 1 tbsp
- Tamarind - Few (Soak into lukewarm water) (Tamarind Pulp - 2 tbsp)
- Salt - To Taste
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Oil - For Frying
- Oil - 2 Spoon
- Cut the potatoes in two equal halves. Heat oil in a karahi. Add potatoes one by one & let it fry till it turns a little golden brown.
- In the same karahi. Heat oil. Add cumin seeds & saute.
- Add onion & saute. Add ginger-garlic paste & saute.
- Add tomato & saute. Add salt & mix well. Put the lid & cook.
- Add all the ingredients & saute. Add a little water & saute.
- After a min, add fried potato & mix well. Add a little water & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame till the potato gets tender.
- Add tamarind pulp & mix well. Add a little water & mix well. Put the lid & let it cook for another 5-6 mins.
- Serve hot with rice, roti etc.
