CRISPY & TASTY SHANKARPADI RECIPE || SHANKARPALI || DIWALI SPECIAL RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. All-Purpose Flour - 1/2 Cup
  2. Milk - 1/4 Cup
  3. Powdered Sugar - 1/4 Cup
  4. Salt - 1 Pinch
  5. Ghee - 1/2 Cup
  6. Oil - For Frying
METHOD:
  1. Mix milk & powdered sugar, heat it until lukewarm & let it cool down at room temperature.
  2. Take a thal, add all-purpose flour, hot ghee & mix well. Add salt & mix well.
  3. Add the lukewarm milk, sugar & knead the dough. Cover & keep aside for 2 hours.
  4. After 2 hours, knead the dough for once, make 2 equal portions. Take one portion, roll it against the rolling board with the help of a rolling pin.
  5. Keep the desired thickness, cut off the edges, cut small square & diamond shape pieces.
  6. Heat oil in a karahi, add the pieces one by one & let it fry till it turns golden brown & fry on low flame.
  7. Store in an air-tight container.
