  • PREPARATION TIME: 15 Mins
  • COOKING TIME: 20-25 Mins
INGREDIENTS:
  1. Full Cream Milk - 1 ltr
  2. Lemon - 1
METHOD:
  1. Take a bowl, add lemon. Take out its juice & water & mix well.
  2. Take a vessel. Add full cream milk & keep for boiling.
  3. Continuously stir milk & boil. On a low flame, let the milk boil.
  4. After 5 mins or when milk gets thick, add lemon juice & stir till the milk curdles.
  5. Add lemon juice - 2 tbsp & continuously stir till curdles.
  6. Add the rest of lemon juice, continuously stir till the milk curdles.
  7. Turn off the flame, continuously stir the milk. Stir till the curdled milk separate from the whey.
  8. Leave it aside for a min.
  9. You can preserve the whey in a bottle in the refrigerator for future use. It stays for a month.
  10. Take a bowl, place a strainer.
  11. Put a cotton cloth or muslin cloth over the bowl.
  12. Pour the curdled milk into cloth & strain, gather up corners of the cloth & tie above the curd. Squeeze it a bit.
  13. Keep it aside for 2 hours.
  14. Remove the weight, untie bag & remove paneer.
  15. Take out paneer & cut into the desired shape.
