BINA PYAZ AUR TAMATAR KE BANAYE MAZEDAAR MASOOR DAL | LESS INGREDIENTS | LOCKDOWN SPECIAL RECIPES BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Masoor Dal - 1 Cup
  2. Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  3. Green Chillies - 4-5 (Finely Chopped)
  4. Green Coriander - 1/4 Cup
  5. Salt - To Taste
FOR TEMPERING:
  1. Cumin & Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp
  2. Curry Leaves - Few
  3. Cumin Seeds  Powder - 1 tsp
  4. Garlic Cloves - 5-6 (Finely Chopped)
  5. Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  6. Ghee - 1 tbsp
METHOD:
  1. Take a vessel, add dal & water. Add turmeric powder & mix well. Soak in water for 6-7 mins. Keep it on flame & boil it. After 5-6 mins, place a channiwali plate & simmer.
  2. Once the water dries, turn off the flame. Let it cool down at room temperature.
  3. Mix dal when lukewarm with the back of a ladle. Add 1/2 a litre of water or 2 glasses of water & mix well.
  4. On high flame, add salt, green chillies, green coriander & mix well. Simmer on low flame.
  5. After 5 mins, keep dal aside.
  6. Heat ghee in a tempering spoon, add all the tempering ingredients & saute.
  7. Put the vessel again on flame, add the tempering & saute.
  8. Place a lid & simmer for 2-3 mins.
  9. Serve after 5 mins.
  10. Serve hot.
