LOCKDOWN RECIPES | BANAYE MAZEDAAR CHAR SIRF 1 TAMATAR, 1 PYAZ AUR HOMEMADE RASAM POWDER KE SAATH BY AYESHA'S WORLD

INGREDIENTS:
  1. Onion - 1 (Sliced)
  2. Tomato - 1 (Sliced)
  3. Green Chillies - 2 (Chopped)
  4. Tamarind - Handful
  5. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
  7. Rasam Masala Powder - 2 tbsp
  8. Salt - To Taste
  9. Green Coriander - Few
FOR TEMPERING:
  1. Curry Leaves - Few
  2. Cumin & Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp
  3. Oil - 1 Spoon
METHOD:
  1. Soak tamarind in lukewarm or room temperature water for 5 mins & separate it from the pulp.
  2. Heat oil in a handi. Add tempering ingredients & saute.
  3. Add onion & saute.
  4. After a min, add tomato, green chillies & saute.
  5. Add turmeric powder, salt & mix well. Cover & cook on low flame.
  6. After 5-6 mins, add tamarind pulp, water - 1/2 litre & cook on high flame.
  7. Add red chilli powder, rasam masala powder & mix well.
  8. Add water 1/2 a glass & mix well.
  9. Add salt & mix well.
  10. Add green coriander & mix well.
  11. Put the lid & cook until it boils. Turn off the flame, put the flame, put the lid & serve after 5 mins.
  12. Serve hot.
